Who you are dealing with

Football Boss is provided by Harry Oliver ("we", "us"). By using Football Boss you are entering into an agreement with Harry Oliver. If you are under 18, please use the game with a parent or guardian's permission — they accept these terms on your behalf.

Accepting these terms

By using the game you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please stop using Football Boss. If we change these terms, the updated version will be posted on this page.

What Football Boss is

Football Boss is a browser-based football management game with 92 entirely fictional clubs, players and competitions. Any resemblance to real clubs, players or people is coincidental. Your progress is saved on your own device, so clearing your browser data or switching device can remove your season.

Fair use of the game

You agree not to misuse Football Boss. In particular, you must not:

• • use it for anything unlawful, fraudulent, abusive or spammy;
• • infringe anyone's intellectual property or other rights;
• • interfere with its security — no malware, probing, scanning, scraping, or attempts to bypass technical limits;
• • reverse engineer, resell or redistribute the game or its content.

Our intellectual property

We own the game, its software, artwork, club and player names, text and branding. You get a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to play Football Boss for your own personal enjoyment.

Service level

We work hard to keep Football Boss running, but we cannot guarantee it will always be available, uninterrupted or error-free. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim implied warranties including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.

Payments and the custom club name upgrade

Football Boss is free to play. The optional custom club name upgrade costs £1.50 as a one-time payment (no subscription, nothing to cancel). Prices are shown on our pricing page. Payment, billing, tax, cancellation and refund mechanics are governed by Paddle's Buyer Terms, together with our refund policy.

Reseller and Merchant of Record

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns.

Suspension and termination

We may suspend or end your access to Football Boss if you materially break these terms, do not pay for a purchase, create a security or fraud risk, or repeatedly or seriously break our rules. You can stop using the game at any time.

Liability

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, consequential or special losses, including lost profits, data or goodwill, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing here limits liability for fraud, death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or anything else that cannot be limited by law.

Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction. You may not transfer your rights under these terms; we may transfer ours as part of a merger, acquisition or sale of the business. Neither of us is responsible for delays caused by events outside our reasonable control.
